Wolverhampton don’t want to release Raul Jimenez, a key forward traveling to serve the Mexican national team after this weekend. For reasons related to COVID-19

Jimenez is included in the Mexican national team. He is called for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in early September. However, Wolverhampton Wanderers will try to request the Mexican Football Federation. Do not allow players to return to the national team during this period.

Wolverhampton Want to use Hemenez with care After the Mexican striker rested for several months. From a severe head injury to a fractured skull.  That is just returned to play early in the season wearing a special headband that provides some level of protection.

Jimenez has not featured for Mexico since November 2020 or after sustaining a head injury at the Emirates Stadium last season. And now it is highly likely that the national team will not be used for the next 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Jamaica on September 2. For against Costa Rica on September 5 and culminating in Panama on September 8.

If Wolves let Jimenez play for the Mexican national team Players will be quarantined for 10 days upon their return to the UK which will leave Wolves head coach Bruno Lach missing two Premier League games and the Carabao Cup third round.
